I was pleasantly surprised. Nicer than the photo. the pics are about dime size and the engraving is done on the back of the photo holders. You cant see it unless you open the locket but I LOVE IT.

Was so delighted that I have since ordered another. I did not order a chain with the first locket because I was unsure
How it would look. The Figaro chain was recommended. With the second locket I ordered the chain and was well Pleased. I will and have recommended this Company to Everyone. Perfect gift! I am more than pleased with the quality of this locket and plan on purchasing one for my mother inlaw. I was shocked how nicely made this locket is.
I had originally ordered a different chain to go along with this item, to my surprise I received a phone call from Silver MIne GIfts. The were stating my original chain choice would not hold up to the weight of this locket and were willing to ship a heavier chain at no extra charge to me!

I was absolutely delighted with the photo-ball locket I purchased from you. it was even more beautiful than pictured and the friend I gave it to was thrilled. Even the chain was different and unusual, much to my delight. (In fact, I'm going to purchase a chain for a piece of my own jewelry). I had the ball engraved and it, too, was done perfectly. I was so very impressed when I received this ball locket. The details are exquisite and the silver quality is superb. I have placed pictures of my mom, grandparents and beloved cat that have all passed. The locket hangs near my heart, just where my loved ones should be!

I had shopped many stores looking for a locket for my wife that would accommodate photos of all of our married children and our grand children. No store had what I needed. Finally, in total frustration, I went online, did a search for a 6 photo locket and found a reference to Silver Mine Gifts. After viewing your sterling silver 6 photo ball locket on your web site and calling you folks on the phone to discuss the product, I placed the order.
The locket was a surprise Christmas gift, and my wife was overjoyed. We love the detail, the old world look, and how beautifully the locket displays 6 photos. I felt this looked a bit different, and prettier, than plain ball lockets. It arrived in good time, to me in the UK, and was very well packaged. The locket is well made with a good solid feel to it. I found the clips on the side easy enough to open and close, but secure enough that they won't open at random. The details and engraving go all the way round and under so it looks lovely from any way its looked at and has an heirloom feel, almost. A very wearable piece. Silver Mine were quick to respond to a query, too.

I LOVE this locket! It is beautifully crafted, a nice big size, but light enough I wear it everywhere. The arms hold it together tightly enough I'm not worried about it coming undone, but it's still easy to open. So unique, people have been stopping me on the street to ask me about it, and I love the little gasp I get out of them when I open it to show that it has 6 photos!

I love the uniqueness of this locket. I am having a tough time finding pics small enough. But the size of the ball is perfect - not too heavy or bulky. I hope the closure is sturdy, but so far it is perfect. This company cares about customer service and I find that to be a rare thing. I will purchase more from here next time I'm looking for silver jewelry.

I ordered this locket (shipping to Australia) and it failed to arrive. When I contacted Silvermine, they replied promptly and assured me they would rectify the situation. Two days later a new locket was shipped and it arrived quickly. The team at Silvermine have amazing customer service and I believe it's how they dealt with things going awry that shows their true character. I love the necklace, although would recommend to others to order the longest chain available, as it is best worn long. Overall, I would definitely order from Silvermine gifts again.

We bought this locket for my Mother-in-laws 60th Birthday on a Sunday and had it on hands by Weds. She loves antique silver jewelery and has 5 grandchildren so this was perfect for her. When she opened it she and the rest of our family was in awe. At first she didn't even realize it was a locket since the latches seem part of the piece itself. The insciption in the back was beautiful and we know this will be loved for a long time. We found stickers to use as templates to cut the faces. This lockets openings are a wonderful size and really capture the grandchilden.
