this little owl needle case is beautiful and very detailed. it opens at the bottom, underneath the part that looks like a tree trunk, which makes it perfect for the big needles i use to sew up knitting projects. (it might not be as good for tiny, fine needles, but the ones i use are huge, and i can fit several in this case.) it's also got very shiny, clear garnets for eyes, which don't show up as well in the internet photo.
